Run the Playbook to build your team’s mental game — one week at a time, in 6 easy steps.

  • Step 1: Pick a Play.

    Choose a Play from the PMU Playbook that fits what your team needs this week — focus before a big game, confidence after a rough loss, handling pressure in the playoffs, etc.

    Step 2: Share it Sunday night.

    Send the link to your team. Just a 2-minute read — with real tools they can start using right away.

    Step 3: Talk it out at practice.

    Budget the first 5 minutes of the next practice for a team huddle — what they learned, and what they’re going to try over the next week.

    Step 4: Put it into action.

    Challenge players to use one tool from the Play during the week's practices and games.

  • Step 5: Check in and repeat.

    At the end of the week, ask what worked. Then pick your next Play and start again.

  • Step 6. Continue the dialogue.

    Make your team’s new MPT Skills and Tools part of their daily reality. Remind players to use them during key moments, and create space to build them proactively, such as taking a few minutes before every game or practice for visualization, pre-game rituals, and breathing techniques.
